The heaters are constructed with shatterproof, laboratory-grade glass, ensuring they are free of pollutants, resistant to chemical and biological substances, and able to withstand extreme temperature fluctuations. The glass jackets also enlarge the heating surface and ensure even heat distribution.
Temperature can be precisely adjusted using the TruTemp dial with a readjustment ring, allowing the user to recalibrate the heater for an accurate temperature reading. The control accuracy is within +/- 0.5 degrees.
The Jager TruTemp heaters also feature a thermo-safety control mechanism that provides "running-dry" protection. The heater will automatically shut off when removed from the water and resume functioning upon return.
